Beginners Patchwork class with Jane Glover
This is a monthly class that continues on the 3rd Friday of each month.
Friday 15th July – 9.30am – 3pm – £37.50 for each month – This class is designed for beginners in patchwork and is kept small to ensure you get time with our tutor. Working at your own pace, this informal and supportive class will help you to build your patchwork skills. Over the months, you will have the opportunity to make a range of patchwork blocks that demonstrate your skills development with an option to make them into a table or bed runner, sampler quilt or cushion.
The course covers using appropriate tools to measure and cut accurately, how to sew a ¼” seam, a range of patchwork techniques, how to join blocks together, adding borders and binding and basic quilting skills.
A working knowledge of how to use your sewing machine is essential.
You may sign up to just one day but this class continues over the next five months and possibly beyond, the cost will be £37.50 per class.
