The Birdhouse Willowbrook Hexie Quilt Block of the Month by Natalie Bird.

This gorgeous quilt features 21 stitcheries with a Market Garden theme. Large english paper pieced hexagons make this quilt a great portable project. It Includes all the fabric for the quilt top/binding and pattern. The fabrics we will be using are from the Tilda Songbird range which is brand new in February 2026.

You will receive a fat quarter of all the range (excluding the blenders and ‘Aubery’ as the print is too large). ‘Lila’ blender from this range will be used as the background, of which you can choose the colour but if you do not let us know the light blue or peach will be used. The border colour, in this range, can be chosen by you but if you do not notify us one will be chosen for you.

You will need to purchase some pre-cut Hexagon papers in 2 1/4’’ or make your own. If you require embroidery threads, please ask and we can work out a price.

The first month you will receive the pattern and linen (if you already have the pre-printed panel please let us know as you do not need the linen) and then each month thereafter you will receive the fabrics to complete a section of the quilt. Month 6 includes the rest of the fabrics to complete your quilt top.

Finished size of quilt is 63″ x 74″.
