Monthly Patchwork and Textiles with Jane Glover

(This is a monthly class that continues on the mostly the 3rd Saturday of each month)

Saturday 20th January – 9.30 – 3pm – £39 – Come along and have some fun on this friendly informal class. Working at your own pace this class will run once a month covering a range of patchworking and quilting skills interspersed with textile- related techniques. This brand-new class will focus on machine patchwork with the addition of techniques to supplement and enhance your creativity. The topics to be covered in this class will include foundation paper piecing, applique, free motion embroidery, embellishments, foiling and fabric painting.
Our experienced tutor Jane will be on hand to support you to get the most out of each class with lots of ideas, hints, and tips.
This class is suitable for confident beginners through to those with intermediate skills. If you’re unsure about whether this is right for you, please give us a call.

This is a monthly class that continues on mostly the 3rd Saturday of each month (Alterations to this date are March and June is the 4th Saturday, none in August and the 2nd Saturday in December).

Requirements:

Sewing machine in good working order, with all cables, feet, machine needles, bobbin/case and user manual.
*Machine sewing threads for top and bobbin.
*A minimum of 4 x fat quarters of quilting weight cotton. Scissors, seam ripper, pins.
*Quilter’s ruler and rotary cutter.
Notebook and pen/pencil.
*Marking tool e.g. Frixion pen/chalk

Advice will be given by the tutor each month on requirements for the following month.
