Monthly Skill Builder Patchwork Class making Springtime Garden Quilt with Janet Goddard

(This is a monthly class that continues on mostly the 4th Friday of each month for six months

The dates for the quilt below are 22 August, 26 September, 24 October, 28 November,  23 January and 27 February.

Friday 22nd August – 10am – 3.30pm – £39 for each month – This class is designed for both beginners in patchwork and those wanting to improve their skills.

Over the next six months we will be working on a Springtime Garden Quilt. Each month a different technique will be taught working towards the completion of the quilt. This quilt can be built up row by row and contains many elements found in a springtime garden including mosaic tiles, a variety of flowers and blooms, vines and leaves, dragonflies, butterflies and a some hearts for good measure. Lots of techniques are covered in the workshops including machine piecing, machine applique and folded patchwork. I have made my quilt using fabrics in a grey, lime green and turquoise colour palette but I think it would work with most fabric combinations.

A working knowledge of how to use your sewing machine is essential.
