Cornish Ware Inspired Pot with Flowers with Cathy from Dear Emma Designs

Saturday 24rd April 2027  – 10am – 4pm – £85 – Would  you like to design and sew your very own Cornish ware inspired pot with flowers?

Aimed at all abilities, I will demonstrate free-motion machine embroidery and raw edge applique, provide you with practices pieces and one-to-one tuition showing you to how to create your own design.  Your design will incorporate vintage fabrics and lace (feel free to bring along any special fabrics) and I will also provide templates and letter stamps you can personalise your pot if desired. Your completed piece will measure approximately 22cm x 22cm and can be displayed as a hooped picture (I can supply you with a quality Nurge hoop for a small cost), be framed by yourself at home or be part of one of your own projects, possibly make more into a delightful quilt?

A kit (£10) can be provided for this workshop and will need to be paid on the day to Cathy to include: Pale blue background fabric 25cm x 25cm, Cornishware inspired blue/white fabric, template for pot, some fabric for flowers, leaves etc, some vintage fabric strips/lace etc for the tablecloth
