A striking design inspired by traditional Latvian textile motifs, Krista has  reimaged the originally monochromatic design in a bold and saturated colour palette of ruby red, golden olive, fern green, and two shades of turquoise. The warm red and gold diamonds set on top of the blue and green bands create a lovely floating effect reminiscent of woven textiles. This design is beautiful as shown worked as a table runner and it would also make a lovely cushion cover worked as a square with fewer motif repeats.
