Landscape Workshop with Rebecca from Featherstitch House

Saturday 22nd November – 10 – 4pm – £75 – Learn how to combine textile art skills as you embroider a stunning landscape.

This full day workshop is aimed at stitchers with some experience who want to experiment with a range of textile art techniques. Rebecca will teach you:

• How to use images to create templates
• How to create layered backgrounds
• How to use simple stitches to add texture, dimension and movement.
• How to create dramatic skies
• How to add embroidery and embellishments to create botanical details
• How to frame your work in a hoop

After the workshop, you should be able to use any photo to create a landscape of your choice.
