Modern Mandala uses simple shapes to make a mandala. This can be either simple or more complex depending on the fabric chosen. This quilt is  perfect for using fat quarters or scraps. The more varied fabrics chosen the more interesting the mandala will be.
The pattern includes instructions for raw edge and needle turn appliqué. there is pointy tipped and curved tipped dresden plates.  All templates, layout and a colouring in page are included to  assist with colour placement.
